Carolyn Gair is an award winning Canadian filmmaker living in Los Angeles. She has over 30 years experience in the animation industry working with all the major studios, from Disney and Pixar, to Paramount and Warner Bros. She's an Emmy Award winner, an Annie Nominee and recently was honored with the Director Award, given to outstanding women in film by the Emberlight International Film Festival. Carolyn is also public speaker, having appeared in several panels and master classes.
Carolyn's work speaks for itself. A graduate of Sheridan College of Animation, she has crafted an inspiring legacy, helping to create some of the most widely known television classics, such as Tiny Toons and Animaniacs. She’s worked with Disney to help bring the world Kim Possible, Jungle Book 2 and Brother Bear 2 and Tinkerbell. Her current stop-motion work includes the feature-length film RETURN TO KELLOGG, TIN TUNE--the latest in the found object "Rustnik" series, and MARIACHI CHRISTMAS, one of a series of shorts featuring the character CheeseMan. Carolyn also creates ADVERTISING content for all media. Her work has been seen in over 20 countries and translated into multiple languages.
